Gnossem’s mannequins created a stir on Singapore’s busy shopping streets, with the audience nervously giggling while trying to find out if the models were real or not. It was a fun event for all involved! The models for this event were both visiting from Sweden, with Sofia being one of Gnossem’s talented magazine contributors for her incredible travel photography. This lookbook was shot by the talented M.O.D.A Magazine team, and creatively directed and photographed by Cornelyus Tan. The dark, edgy theme of the shoot is reminiscent of one of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novels, Notes from Underground; where his disturbed first person narrator brings across a portrait of humans as irrational, uncontrollable and never satisfied —- a dark psychological study, which became pivotal pre-reading for any serious writer. Cornelyus is known in Singapore for his incredible photography, and the strong narrative and meaning that comes through his resulting images. We love how the M.O.D.A team styled the Gnossem fashion in new and innovative ways; showing us how versatile some pieces really are. Shop this lookbook here.

Fall / Winter 2012 fashion campaign with the sexy theme of James Bond 007. Previously, our fashion campaigns focussed on a strong leading lady. We wanted to change it up in this campaign, by introducing our first lead male role, played by Brazilian model Renato Freitas. The absolutely sizzling Femme Fatale was played by Russian model Ksenia Dzhalaganiya. If you haven’t seen this awesome campaign, view and shop it here.

La Décadence Moderne

This lookbook contrasts severe sophistication with dark, sultry opulence. The model and styling are reminiscent of the classic YSL campaigns of yesteryear. Androgynous model, Alvi, was spotted by Gnossem’s Founder at an Elite Model Look; and although he was deemed too controversial for this competition, he was one of the very few that left a lasting impression. Gnossem is very happy to present their work with Alvi: a truly gifted and elegant model who has courageously stood apart from the crowd. Shop the lookbook here.
